Operator: Endeavour Silver Corp. ("Endeavour Silver")
Metal(s): Silver, Gold
Technical Report: NI 43-101 Preliminary Economic Assessment Report
Endeavour Silver’s fourth and highest-grade silver equivalent mine, El Compas, is located in Zacatecas, the 3rd largest historic silver mining district in Mexico. The fully permitted mine and leased plant were acquired in 2016. Endeavour is currently developing by mechanized, underground, ramp access the El Compas and El Orito veins for production starting in April 2018 and the 500 tpd plant is being refurbished for 325 tpd initially. Since the mine and plant are both scalable, exploration is focused on finding multiple small orebodies to ultimately fill the plant to capacity. A preliminary economic assessment was completed in 2017 (see Endeavour News Release dated March 27, 2017) modeling a 200 tpd operation. Since publishing the PEA, the Company has continued to optimize mining methods, the crushing circuit and grinding alternatives and has been successful on a number of fronts in improving the operating metrics.
